Venue and Seating Information
Scope Arena is an indoor venue in downtown Norfolk. For a festival-style concert, floor seating can offer proximity to the performers, while elevated sections provide a wider view of the stage and production. The best fit depends on whether a close-up experience or a broader sightline is the priority.
Seat quality can vary by location and event-stage configuration. Review the seating map and the specific ticket listing before purchasing, as the provided event details do not identify the stage layout or confirm which sections offer the clearest views.
Parking Information
Parking availability and rates can change, and no specific lot, address or price is confirmed in the supplied event information. Consider checking current venue and downtown parking guidance before travel, and allow extra time to find a space near the arena.
Common options to consider include:
- Public garages and lots in the downtown area; confirm operating hours, event rates and walking distance before parking.
- Accessible parking, which may be available subject to venue arrangements and local requirements; verify access details with the venue in advance.
Cousinz Festival Norfolk reviews
The mystery of the Phantom
Overall, my youngest and I both enjoyed the performance. The opera demands quality voices, and the voices were wonderful. We really enjoyed the unique twist when operas were being performed by the company that you were behind them and they faced "their audience". The staging of the underground was beautiful, and the opalescence of the costumes was impressive. I have a criticism of the Hobby Center in that their programs have no summary of the plot for you to look at ahead of time. The plot got a little weak when the details were not stressed as to where the Cousinz Festival came from. My youngest was concerned that it would be a musical and not an opera, but she kept up fine though.
